Youth in Policing Initiative (Y.I.P.I.) Program
The Halton Regional Police Service (H.R.P.S.) is now accepting applications for the 2016 Summer Youth in Policing Initiative Program. The HRPS in partnership with the Ministry of Children and Youth Services will be offering the Youth in Policing Initiative (Y.I.P.I.) Program as their strategy to address the growing needs of our youth. YIPI is a paid employment program for youth attending a secondary school program. The goal of YIPI is to give 6 young people an opportunity to develop job skills while enhancing police and community relations.
The program runs from July 4 to August 25, 2017.
The deadline for Application Submission is Friday March 3, 2017
